Netflix original movies are tough to run the numbers on, because Netflix rarely reveals any. But based on the estimates done by Symphony Advanced Media, we know that the top three-day binge ratings on original shows went to Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life (5 million), Orange Is the New Black‘s fourth season (5.8 million) and season 1 of Fuller House (7.3 million). With that in mind, the original movie Coin Heist feels like a smart play to nab and expand that female-skewing demographic – it has a bit of a Full House “clean teen comedy” vibe, and features two social media stars. Alexis G. Zall, who has over a million subscribers on YouTube, mostly does videos involving acting and food-tasting, while Vine star Jay Walker has over 434,000 Vine followers who enjoy his ten-second comedy bits.
